Today we:
The Outsiders: We read chapter 9 and you had time to write your journal responses.
Dynamic/Static Characters: We discussed what these types of characters look like. We looked at two examples from Finding Nemo and discussed Ponyboy together as a class.
Journal Responses 7-9: You were given time to edit and submit your journal responses for chapters 7-9. These will be DUE FRIDAY.
Media Schmedia: You were to choose a news article from the link on the blog and analyse it according to the worksheet questions. This will be Due FRIDAY.

Vocabulary: We reviewed some of our "Outsiders" vocabulary words: sophisticated, apprehensive, gingerly, asset, incredulous. Please ensure you understand what these words mean.
Journal Responses: We looked at some examples of "good" and "not so good" journal responses and discussed the writing rubric that I am using to assess your responses.
